SHIPPING POLICY AND CHARGES

Nothing is more important to us than your complete satisfaction; that is why we take great care creating our chocolates and hand packing your order.
HOW ORDERS ARE PROCESSED: Orders received in our system Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday PRIOR TO 12:00pm PST are processed and shipped the same day unless otherwise specified. orders placed and received in our system AFTER 12:00pm PST will ship the next available shipping day.
To limit time in transit, orders are NOT shipped over the weekend. This is designed to ensure premium quality upon arrival. During busy holiday periods, orders may require additional time to process and depart from our facility.
The three shipping methods we offer are: 2-DAY AIR (which is our standard method of shipping), STANDARD OVERNIGHT, and FREE to addresses within close proximity to our store.
2-Day Air Delivery: These orders ship MONDAY through WEDNESDAY ONLY and packages will arrive before 7pm the second day following the ship date. Orders received after 12:00pm PST on Wednesday will not ship until the following Monday or next available ship day. If cool temperatures allow your chocolate to be safely transported, we may choose to ship on Thursday or Friday.
Please note that orders shipped via 2-Day Air on Thursday or Friday will not reach their destination until the following Monday or Tuesday (or next available delivery day) by 7pm.
Standard Overnight Delivery: These orders ship MONDAY through THURSDAY ONLY and packages will arrive before 4pm the next day following the ship date. Orders received after 12:00pm PST on Thursday will not ship until the following Monday or next available ship day.

If cool temperatures allow your chocolate to be safely transported, we may choose to ship on Friday. Please note that orders shipped Standard overnight on Friday will not reach their destination until the following Monday (or next available delivery day) by 4pm.

* SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES: Saturday is NOT a standard delivery day, and is only available in some areas at an additional cost - special arrangements must be made. If you require your Overnight delivery to arrive early in the day, then you must request PRIORITY Overnight - there is an additional charge for this service. To make either of these requests, please call (510) 548-2466.
- Due to the perishable nature of our products, Alegio Chocolate is unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses.
- All shipments to Alaska and Hawaii require an additional $10 charge for delivery, and are delivered in 2 business days.
- During the warm season (June 17 to September 30), ALL orders are sent via Standard Overnight and will be packaged with ice packs to ensure your chocolate arrives in excellent condition.

Please Note: Our chocolates may have come into contact with peanut and other ground nut products, as well as tree nut products such as almonds. Milk chocolate products contain whole milk powder.
